Units and bankroll basics

A unit is a standard bet size that makes results easy to compare. If your unit is $10, a 1-unit bet is $10.

On PickBot's Results page, units are a normalized stake used for record-keeping. They are not a statement about money wagered and not advice on how much you should bet. See Units and ROI on the Results page.

Bankroll basics

  • Your bankroll is money set aside for betting that you can afford to lose.

  • Many bettors keep each bet to a small, fixed share of their bankroll so a losing run doesn't empty it.

  • Decide your limits before you bet, and never chase losses.

PickBot does not give staking advice. See Responsible gambling: where to get help.
